new in the box scarab, 4/2004 date - this was when they were still in Vero. S30V steel
with all paperwork and sheath

You might want to note that this is an early edition given the Birth date and it is in fact called the QD SCARAB, (QD being for quick deployment). This was made at the original Vero Beach factory and thus has, I think, a bit of collector value as compared with current models being made in PA.

It is a nice knife and I think the Vero Beach MTs are far superior than the newer ones.
