its not a fake, but that's how i purchased it. i did not buy it brand new.

Yeah dude. There are a lot of fakes floating around out there. I'm sorry you got burned. Gotta be really careful with Microtechs...

Normally I would not allow interference in a sales thread. This seems serious, though, and something the seller was unaware of. I will leave this open for now if that will help work out what's up with the knife.

Why did he take the pictures down when questioned about where it said s-30v on the blade (2 minutes after he was asked)? It was in his description but not on the knife. Something seems a little fishy to me. Just sayin!!!!!

I'm not sure, but I don't think the fakes have been out as long as he claims to of had it either...

Your right sawjaws, Those ones havn't been around that long. Hell, put matching serial #'s and S-30v on the blade and You would fool about 90% of people!!!!!
