Microtech SOCOM Elite Auto

This is a circa 2007 workhorse that was completely restored from the ground up by Microtech. It was completely disassembled, cleaned and sharpened. Here's what was replaced...spring assembly, actuator, every screw including pivot bolt, glass breaker/attitude adjuster & grip tape inserts. I specifically asked MT not to replace the pocket clip as I wanted as much of the old functional parts to be left alone. So now it's a "new" old knife. It has not been used, carried or sharpened since restoration. Flat dark earth D2 blade is perfectly centered. No blade play in any direction. Sharp as sh*t. Despite it being a hard user in its former life, the blade is in fantastic shape. It was not sharpened to the point where the original profile isn't recognizable or the blade is half its original size from removed metal. Nice hard kicking action. Glassy smooth to close. Ready for another lifetime of use. Knife ONLY, no box/papers.
