I never realized how similar these two knives are on paper. 4" blades, tip down RH carry, nested liner lock etc.
I own both knives and think they are the two best 4" folders out there. For me, after carrying and using both extensively I reach for the Socom Elite. To me, it is absolute folder perfection. The handle shape, countersunk grip tape insets (or CF inlays), deep carry clip, thrust bearings, edge geometry (GREAT cutter) and thick liner lock all make this knife a winner for me. There are rumors that Mictotech is releasing the Socom Elite again in the fall and I couldn't be happier.
