That’s not correct for it to be that hard to actuate it. It does seem to smooth out a bit over time, but not from a starting point you describe, an Ultratech just isn’t supposed to be that hard to begin with. There was a member in the automatic forum that had a similar problem with his new UTX85, he switched out the insides with another he had and that cured the problem he had with lockup.I filled that sucker up with RemOil just like the Microtech video explains to do, improved only slightly, still takes the meat off my thumbs like a cheese-grater with the pressure it takes to move it.
But those are hardly noticeable and aren't cracks, so...The only thing about the manual is that it has those lines that look like cracks on the pile side of the handle.
