I am a Star Wars nut. Bordering on obsessed (I was completely obsessed in my youth, but it's calmed down a tad)...

However, it would take Microtech producing an actual working lightsaber before I would even consider buying one of their wares.

I'm a collector of certain Microtechs and like Star War too, but I'm not paying the premium the market is asking for these Ultratechs. Don't get me wrong, they're cool, but I have enough Ultratechs for now. For those saying MT should be sued for Star Wars trademark or infringement of likeness, keep in mind that these knives are not labeled as Star Wars, but rather with the same color schemes. Don't get me wrong as I'm not defending the Marfiones (there's things they've done that I don't approve of) as they have done more than one shady move. They do make very nice knives though.

IMHO, I wouldn't anticipate them generating a big return to knife collectors. Maybe for Star Wars collectors, but that said there's a ton of Star Wars memorabilia. Personally I would only spend that much money on them if you're a huge Star Wars fan and a knife fan to boot! But...if you do get them please make sure to post some pics for us!
