I just received the e-mailed pics, Mike. Thanks! This Tachyon looks like it's going to be a great piece. My order is definitely forthcoming.

Just at a glance, without ever holding this knife, the position of the [lightening] holes in the handles in conjunction with the Spacers, if those Spacers are Titanium, should give this Balisong a little bit more "flip" as there should be more weight towards the latch, the latch will add to that as well.

Nice work...it looks really, really good.

I can't believe some people were bitching about that knife. I personally think that its a very unique/NEW Design, that doesn't copy the ever so popular skeleton style common on so many different balisongs. Great knife. I can't wait to get one!

You guys, this Bali is going to KICK!!! There is one more pic that is too large to post, and Mike does not want it on the forum (due to its size) I will try to get a smaller version from him and post it, but I recommend that you get it (its a cool pic), its a very large vertical view of the balisong.

Quick question, when the price says under 200. It's not one of those 199.95 things is it?

Damnit! I can't believe I spend so much money on cutting myself

The knife KICKS ASS...I would have rather had a 4 inch or possibly a 5 inch blade, I can live with this.

This Bali is innovative, it looks High Tech as you would expect from MT and although MT has stuttered in the past it has been rare.

They had some problems with early versions of the LCC D/A but those problems stemmed from wanting to make the best version of that knife that they possibly could do. Overall, their Quality is high as well as QC.

In a way, Microtech has been alot like Benchmade and earlier incarnations of Benchmade in that one Man's Vision of a certain type of knife, in one case, Les deAsis and the Balisong and in the other, Tony Marfione and the Automatic...

They have both been Pioneers.

I still don't like the look of the handles. They look too square, and I just don't like the cut-outs. This is of course my personal taste.

However if it's going to perform and last as great as I think it will, then it would be a shame to miss out on getting one for purely cosmetic reasons.

Thanks Mike The pics make me feel a lot better about pre=ordering the bali :-) Can you email me the pics for wall paper

Now THAT's a slick lookin' knife. And I love the spacers! What a concept! But we'll just have to see if it lives up to the promise of "no-play" in the handles. This is what I'm really interested in. I must be harder on balisongs than most because my BM42 is already far too wobbly. But I have faith in Mr. Turber and the new Tachyon.

So when is MT taking orders? I can have my rent $ handy by the end of the month so I hope its soon

I can't wait for some more pics.

What kind of price range are we looking at for this great knife.

You know balisongs are like potato chips, you can't have just one.
