SOLD.

#03468. 04/2007. With box, black cordura sheath and papers. Matte black handle with window breaker/skull crusher. It's been played with a bit, toted around in my pocket once, but hasn't cut anything or been sharpened. No detectable wear and no scratches. Pics unavailable until tomorrow.

SOLD.

In all good candor, I do not know. "TE" is printed on the box, as in "Troodon TE Satin Serr" My best guess, after looking at the knife for something to occur to me, is that it's the Microtech designation for a tanto blade, maybe Tanto Edge? "T/E" is also printed on the knife itself, directly under the model name on the clip side of the handle.

This blade is tanto, single edge, half serrated.

Hope this helps.

Pics are looking improbable until camera comes home from the shop, so faith is necessary to purchase this one. But faith doesn't come cheap, so I'm dropping the price to $300 shipped.

If this second drop in price doesn't induce you to pull the trigger on this still unphotographed yet very real knife, then I am going to hire a voodoo priestess to create a literal black cloud which will hover two feet above your head and follow you around everywhere you go, including to the restroom and Denny's.

Price now $250 including shipping, which, as anyone can tell you, is something of a bargain. Cheaper than hiring a voodoo priestess.

re: that whole "hiring a voodoo priestess (VP)" thing; what's a good VP go for these day? And do they tend to have an underlying sultriness aura going on (like in the movies)? Any risks associated with hitting on a VP with an underlying sultriness aura?
And just so some mod or other doesn't go getting his/her undies all bunched up; how about a link to one (primarily knife, but I'm good with a pic of the VP too) that looks like yours.
all da best,
rats...

This one is pretty close. Mine does not have this two-tone blade, and this one is from an older production run. On mine the glass breaker is tungsten and rounded, the logo and other markings are on the clip. The blade shape and body shape are the same. This knife has a very noticeable underlying aura of sultriness. Thanks for suggesting what I should have thought of days ago.

No idea what steel is involved. Sorry, but it's just not available information unless you know of a way to check the serial number.

As far as trades go, I am open to offers. I'm into Graham Brothers stuff, especially discontinued. Otherwise I'm into high end customs, preferably hand forged, preferably not "tactical." And Randalls. Always with the Randalls.

Thanks for your interest. Please PM or email to discuss possibilities.

OK, I got what T/E is now, Tanto Edge. But now we have a picture of an Ultratech. So my question is; are you selling an UT or a Troodon?

It's a troodon, and the photo I copped from a website was labeled troodon, but is actually an ultratech, as you say. I am apparently next to helpless here. This pic is almost it, except that mine does not have the cut-outs/blood grooves at the top of the blade. My box is labelled exactly as the one in the photo.

"Funny" indeed; it makes my ears look tres sexay...
Currently -11; ya better put mittens on it. I'll send an email when the $$ goes south.
