Helo got a Ultratech off the forum a few weeks ago worked fine until suddenly it retracts fine but doesn't fire hard every time on occasion it will acts fine ,then bam slow firing that won't lock the blade out, I don't want to spend money for a tool to take it apart so here is a deal for someone who has a means to take it apart, asking $WITHDRAWN shipped priority mail to your door sales to the U.S. only, pay pal fine SALES ONLY TO AREAS WHERE LEGAL, AND IF YOU CAN LEGALLY OWN IT. I have owned several of the MT's and had them do exactly what your are describing. It is because some dirt/crud gets inside and gums the system up. take some lightweight spray cleaner ( I use break free) and retract the blade part way and spray into the knife body while holding it blade opening upside down. leave the knife propped up, with the opening down so that it can drain for a day. then open and close about 10 times; wiping the excess fluid off the blade. then put about one drop of light oil on each side of the blade groove and open and close 10 times. wipe off the excess and you will be good to go
