*I love the configuration of this Ultratech but it is difficult for me to close at times with one hand(much more so than newer Microtechs). Opening the blade is much easier for me but I almost need to brace my hand against my leg to retract the blade with one thumb. I'm not sure if this ultratech could be flushed with some lube to ease the actuation/retraction or if the new owner will want to send it back to Microtech to get a weaker spring put in but I wanted to provide full disclosure. It does fire hard everytime I have pushed the button! Aside from this, I have carried this knife on a few occasions but have not cut anyone/anything with it
It has 2 tiny marks(see 3rd pic) about halfway up the side of the handle where I knocked it against my desk but is otherwise extremely clean.
