I don't see a date and serial number. it has M390 on the blade. is that what you are looking for?

The date should be month/year on the pocket clip.. pretty sure UTX85s don't have individual serial numbers like the more expensive Microtechs (my combat troodon does but my UTX85 doesn't- unless it's on the box)

My UTX85 does have a SN - right at the top of the clip. Mine is a July 2017, so that may be a recent inclusion.
 
I am fairly certain I can see where the ink is on the photo of the clip side. Its too blurry of a photo but it appears there are two spots of writing, at the top where the serial goes, and in the bend of the clip, where the date goes..

Geez, you have to have eyes like an eagle to see that information. the mfg date is 04/2017 serial number is also present.
