Microtech Venomtech

Hi guys,
So I am looking for a microtech venomtech. I have looked around quite a bit. But can't seem to find a place that's sells them. Where would be the best place to look?
Or am I going to have to find a used one and buy it that way?

I don't think they produce them anymore so secondary market is the best bet for finding one.

They were originally a BladeHQ exclusive. I'm not sure if they were ever available from other dealers, but they could have been. The Venomtech wasn't all that popular when it came out and I wouldn't bet on Microtech ever making more. I suggest looking for a pre-owned Venomtech.

I don't have an account either. I just mentioned it because there's currently a hand-ground Venomtech prototype listed there for sale (no affiliation, etc.). I also saw two sold recently right here on the automatics for sale exchange board. You just have to be patient and keep searching. Try hitting all the various knife board for-sale listings, and check with knife dealers who do consignment work. They're pretty rare, but one will eventually pop up.

How much is the prototype venomtech listed for?
Since I can't find any I don't even know a price range for them.

The hand-ground proto is listed at $1200 with what appears to be a stainless steel frame. As far as I can tell from the current listings, the going price for a standard flat-ground aluminum version is in the $350 to $450 range.

Be aware Venom tech fakes now exist. I would approach any deal with caution seeing people now know you are looking for one. If you find a knife you are interested in I would strongly urge you to post some pics here before committing to a purchase. And if you do purchase under no circumstances should you use paypal gift.
