Microtech whale shark

Ok finally found a whale shark and centering was not to good. It is 2nd generation so I was able to get it pretty close to center but not dead on , and it's bothering me. I heard that if you flip the pivot it will center perfectly but I'm afraid that if I try the bearing system might fall out and then I will be in a world of trouble as to forfeit warranty. Has anyone tried it? Is it easy? If not it is close and I can live with it but just bugs me it's not dead on. If someone has had experience with this I would appreciate the help. Thank you guys.

From what I've heard Microtechs customer service has gotten better. If it bothers you, send it in for repair. If your concerned about the warranty don't take it apart.
