Hi everyone, a custom order just came up much earlier than expected so you know how it goes.
Microtech Whaleshark - $375 $330 $300 SOLD - The knife that has been in my collection the longest, which is saying something. Microtech appears to be uninterested in producing more Whalesharks, which makes a plain edge version pretty rare at this point. On top of that, this is from the original run in CTS-204P, which it is safe to say we will not be seeing again. This model has the bead blasted blade, which shows no wear at all from the very light use it sustained. Still stupid sharp. The lockup is somewhat late, but rock solid in all direction. The hefty blade and bearing system make for a very smooth and effective flipper. This specimen has the T30 torx adjustable pivot. There is a little bit of cosmetic marring on one of the pocket clip screws, which I have highlighted. Blade looks offcenter because the backspacer is not machined perfectly even, but the blade is actually dead on centered. Never sharpened. Includes all of the original MT packaging, including the old belt sheaths that came in 2012 and before.
ZT 0560CBCF - $295 SOLD - Lightly carried but never used, unfortunately the lock side has two scuffs on it, which I have pictured. Lockup is rock solid at about 50%. Very smooth, pefectly centered, with good flipping action. Blade is still factory sharp. Comes with original box.
Also check out my sales for a Rival modified ZT 0200 with red/black g10 scales and a Ti Spyderco Southard scale:
