Here's a fighter with a twist on our original "Midnight Rider" design. I hope you like it.
J.

This fighter has an 8" blade of 350 layer "ladder" pattern damascus forged from 5160 & 15N20 steels. The knife has an overall length of 13 1/2". The handle is African Blackwood with a guard and sub-guard are nickle-silver and the pins are stainless steel. The knife comes with a tooled leather blade sheath done in a full "Quilt" pattern design with a loop & snap.
Price, with leather sheath: $700.00, plus shipping.

It is really difficult to get stainless pins and blackwood to finish on the same level given that degree of polish. A gunmaker friend once told me the hardest thing for him about a custom rifle was getting the little brass oval to be on the same level as the wood stock
J,That is elegantly understated!

Now this is why he's one of MY favorite makers.

Clean, sweet, great design. Now if I just had $700. :)

Last night I was looking at a knife I got from J about 2 years ago. I found it while looking for another knife in a storage drawer. I was stunned by the beauty of the knife and the sheath. Tess' artistry is breathtaking. I had forgotten that particular sheath .You owe it to yourself to own one of J's knives but you really owe it to yourself to own one of Tess's sheaths.

Oh J. you are the DEVIL putting up knives like this. If I was a little younger I could not control my self. My wife would have left me long ago.
