This is a REPOST. Not happy about it either, jerkin' BAD BOY's chain is never recommended for a clean, healthy life. Whoever stated "I'll take it" mysteriously had problems with PayPal. Then he wanted me to knock down the blade to 5.5", & make a custom sheath like one in a magazine he had seen & wanted me to copy. He wanted my name and address for his records, when I stated I was going to be out of town for a few days (Craig's List Action). Sent me 10+ emails with all kinds of questions about this knife, his last email stated "I will do what I said I was going to do". Then never paid & disappeared. Thanks for that, you make working for a living & serving the public extra special.

I received a wonderful amount of comments on this knife a few weeks back, thanks for that fellas, this one is back up for sale @ a reasonable price.

Midsized Classy Blade D2 .........Burl Ironwood w/ 100% Bronze Contoured Bolsters
Every now and then a knifemaker comes up with an idea where everything just seems to naturally come together.

This is one of those knives. Heavy Burl Ironwood. 100% pure bronze bolsters. The bolsters have been countoured so that there is a "Lip" on the edges, near the ricasso. It almost looks like a custom fit guard (Well I guess it is actually), but they are bolsters, shaped to a new idea that seemed to work out well.

Feels good in hand, that "Lip" on top the bolsters holds your grip downward and prevents the hand from slipping over the blade......which would of course be terrible . I'm always leary of knives that have little protection from finger grip/cutting edge. To each their own, please check out my new style.

Overall Length: 11.5"
Blade Steel: D2 High Speed Industrial Tool Steel (13% Pure Chrome, 1.5% high carbon)
Bolster material: 100% Pure Bronze (Brass peening pins. Try buying some pure bronze sometime, it isn't cheap.)
Handle material: Desert Ironwood burl
Pin Material: Mosaic Pins (#16 pins in each mosaic) Brass "liner" pins

I put extra time into the final finish on this special piece.

Like all my knives, this sucker's sharp. Gods TRUTH-I Cut through a 8" Rawhide bone last night with this blade, so both my dogs could get a piece. THEY WANTED TO COME GET SOME!!! Thank You woodysone, this knife is every bit as sharp as the last one you picked up, Sir. If you enjoy it half as much as I did making it, dreaming of idears', it should make you proud. I forgot about that rawhide bone since this was a re-post. The bone was 1.5" THICK and completely dried out rawhide, I just did it as a stupid stunt in my workroom just to see if the blade was as sharp as I felt it was.....I was actually very surprised, looking back, I cut through that G.D. Rawhide bone in about 35-45 seconds with this. It was a trip brother.

This bronze will need to be touched up from time to time if you would like it to maintain it's original sheen/finish. It's very beautiful Sir. If you're a serious collector & just toss knives in display cases, then it will turn a very distinct patina color & should stand out in your collection. You have my respect & appreciation. I saw a report on 60 minutes about homeless veterans recently. Great soldiers who gave all that they had to fight for their country. To Fight, in some cases die, in some other cases, lose some of their limbs/body parts & risking their lives for their beliefs to help ensure LIBERTIES here in America. They believed in America, I think still do.
From wence they returned home in this economy, the ones who did not have family or friends to help them with a place to stay, or pay their bills....they became homeless. Many of these Brothers in Arms had been on 2, sometimes three or four deployments. Psychologically deranged, returning home, and not having someone like their faithful trusty drill sargeant there to tell them..................what to do. How to Continue To Survive....

I want to tell you people, that I personally, on a personal level, have a REAL PROBLEM with that. I'm not blaming the government, and I'm not blaming anyone else. I just want to make it Public Knowledge that BAD BOY personally has a problem with that. The best that we have in this country, gave their lives for us, so we could continue to enjoy personal freedoms in this country. When they came back........they found themselves left Far Behind.

I always thought that song ^^ was about a man & woman. If you read the lyrics, you'll realize that the last few lines of this song, were clearly address to "Brother".

I want you all to know, record, and get it in your head that I personally am going to do something about this problem. I personally, think it's disgusting that our very best would ever be turned away in the face of all our nation's prospertiy. Sure, times are tough, Sure we're going through changes in this country. But Heck No, is this acceptable, in any way/shape/form, that our finest Brothers In Arms should ever come back home and become homeless. I don't give a damn if you drink too much beer.

Let's all JUST SAY NO to Homeless Veterans who fought for our country, they gave all they had. You survivors on the street, you really are that BAD, you really are that HARDCORE, you really are great survivors. I salute you, and quite frankly people, write this down. I am personally going to fight hard, to see that this condition comes to an end. If you can make it in the military, you should be able to make it anywhere, back home. We're glad you're here brother. We Salute You.

My hearts & prayers go out to you, we can change this condition so easily in this country. Just say NO to homeless veterans. We Salute You Sirs and Mams ~
