Snapped these pics of the camp area at loud thunder. They had a gnarly storm that fell abunch of trees, and the area is closed for now, but should be cleaned up by the 8th.

Lets get a list of whos going, and whos not, so I can prepare my wilderness first aid class.

maybe if they knew who was coming, they just wouldnt have bothered cleanng it up. Im sure we can burn through most of it over the weekend we will be there!!!!!
 
You should see some of the fell trees. Huge ones! Looks lie a tornado, but they say it was just a freak storm that lasted bout 20 minutes, and did alot of damage to the area. I picked up some white oak from a huge oak tree in the yrd of the house my mom grew up in to handle a chefs knife for her.
 
There is a good chance I will be there Saturday to spend the day.Need to meet some of you guys! It looks like about a 170 mile trip each way, heck when my daughter was in college at WIU, I used to drive there in the morning and come back the same night, and that was 225 miles each way.

berkeley is maybe a little over an hour away... not too far at all... i used to hang out there a lot...
 
my cuz lives there. He wants me to come out next summer and help with some theater production, so we will definatly have to hang. Or you could come down there and help out too....That would rock.
