I've heard so many good things on the forum about these folks, and my first experience buying from them has been no exception.

I bought my Benchmade 806D2 from them this past week. Mike was happy to talk to me on the phone, and double-checked to make sure their stock was the new version with bronze washers and reversible tip up/tip down (it was). New Graham's price was fantastic. I requested USPS Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation as the shipping method, and even though their standard method is UPS they didn't bat an eye. I had my new knife in perfect condition in two days. I couldn't be happer. Thanks, Mike and New Graham!

I'm Tom not Mike but I am glad your happy with the service ! and the knife. Bet you had a hard time getting off the phone with mike knowing him. Thanks.
 
My only method of payment is Canada Post MO in USD, and I've sent it down to Mike, not realizing the impending fiasco the banks and USPS would throw.
His bank accepted the MO, but he told me the federal bank at Virginia didn't accept it and threaten to charge him $30USD for some odd user fee. Then I phoine both Canada Post up and USPS up and they said they could cash it, but his local USPS decline the money order and told him to go to another one.
I offered to cover some of his costs, I mean this is digging past his profit margin and into his costs, and he still insists that I've done nothing wrong.
God if I ever pass by Virginia I'll definately visit Mike. His service is above and beyond.
 
I just ordered from them myself for the first time, cant remember who I talked to, but he went to see if the knife was in stock before I placed the order, thats service!!

Was much appreciated as I needed to have it by next thursday!!!
 
calyth that was your MO? that was a fiasco by the bank, but Mike is right its not your fault, the banks in my Opinon, they took and then sent it on to Richmond where the US Treasury Dept. denied and sent it back DUH, then I think were the bank has written all over it and stamped all over the USPS wouldnt accept, LOL nothing went right. Anyway we appreciated your patience and hopefully next time things will go smoother.

rev_jch, If the person you talked to was a guy, it about had to be Mike Dye, mostly everyone else down at the store is female, kind of makes you wonder about Mikes hiring practices eh wink, wink
 
Two days VA to CA USPS...impressive! UPS struggles with 5 business days....UPS has even failed on 3 day select...still like UPS's tracking....md
