I have a near mint condition Mike Draper Sabra MB liner lock with titanium S-bolsters, beautiful black ash burl scales, and a handrubbed S30V blade for sale. The MB is the mid-sized version of the Sabra model, and it's relatively rare to see dressy versions of this model in any size. Regardless of appearance, though, the Sabra is a tough, beefy folder that excels in the field.
The Sabra listed here has apparently been carried and used lightly less than 5 times by a previous owner, but it shows no marks or signs of wear that I can see. It has never been resharpened, and it has its original sharp edge from Mike. The opening action is smooth, the lock-up is rock solid, and the blade centering is near perfect.
***TRADED***
The specs:
Condition: Mint
Blade length: 3 1/2" from tip to handle
Overall length: 8"
Blade thickness: 5/32" at ricasso
Blade steel: S30V
Blade finish: Handrubbed
Edge: Plain
Bolsters: Titanium S-bolsters, beadblasted
Handle scales: Black ash burl
Lock: Titanium liner lock, beadblasted
Backspacer: Titanium, beadblasted
Clip: Tip up, titanium, beadblasted
For payment, I prefer USPS money orders, but I will also accept PayPal and cash (at your own risk). If you are paying by PayPal, I will cover the fees, but the payment has to be sent with a PayPal-confirmed address (including the green "confirmed" marker) listed in the invoice, and I will only ship to that PayPal-confirmed address. I will only accept a personal check if I know you, and I reserve the right to wait for it to clear before I ship.
I will consider a trade for a Strider RC or an AR or GB with specifically the following options:
Digicam blade
Black grooved and contoured G-10 scales
TAD tritium thumbstuds
I will also consider trades (+ or - cash) for custom folders and custom balis. I am especially interested in the following makers:
JL Williams
Tim Galyean
Jim Burke
Kit Carson
Rick Hinderer
Charles Marlowe
Tom Mayo
DB Fraley
Neil Blackwood
Deryk Munroe
Flavio Ikoma
Mauricio Dobruski (balis only)
Ken Onion
Phil Boguszewski
Todd Begg
I may consider trades for other custom folders not listed above. However, I am not interested in serrated blades, production knives besides the specific aforementioned Striders, or fixed blades other than a Galyean Ukiah, small (less than 5" blade) Hossoms, or a Russ Andrews or John Young at this point in time.
Feel free to post, email, or PM any questions. Thanks for looking!
