I saw mikes name on here and just wanted to plug for him and New Graham Knives/Pharmacy, I am looking at about 10 knives I haave bought from him over the years, and I know I got the best price on them you can find anywhere, Mike is great to deal with and know his knives, if he dont have have it he has always gotten it for me, I dont know of anyone better you people could deal with, specialy these days of internet co. that come and go, Mikes store has been around near 100 years i doubt anyone online is going to beat that hehe, anyway its nice to deal with a place that actually is a "brick and mortor" store that you know your dealing with real people and can get real help with what you want. Ok enough of my plug here, Mike if you happen across this I want a big discount next purchase i make hehe

I truly like Mike, too. He is a very honest and sincere gentleman. What I like best is his taste for knives. He has some real a$$ kickers. I was looking for some harder to find Case sambar stag barlows and got 2 from him. Best of all, Mike personally test each knife for that annoying side-to-side wiggle and the quality of the scales. If he don't like it, he won't ship it. Sure I can find knives a bit cheaper but the customer service/friendliness/inspections/good converstation is what brings me back.

Now my question I have been dying to ask:

What the hell does brick and mortor mean????

A brick and mortor business has a building, where one can shop. (Hence the name "brick & mortor.) It`s a retail business. (As opposed to an ebusiness, where shop virtually, online.)

New Graham Knives/Pharmacy has a building that you can shop in. It also has a website and a mailorder business where you can also shop.

brick and mortor is a buisness with a actuall building that you can walk into and shop, that has real employees. This to me means that the buisness is no fly by night internet co. that when you have a problem is gone, and i know for a fact that new graham has been in buisness since 1935 and Mike Dye has worked there for almost 30 years i beleive, I have been in the store and received excellant service from them there, and now you can buy from them online, how much better can you get? also one of the replies here stated you get great service there and you would rather pay more there than go somewhere else????/ looking at thier case knife prices i have not seen one place on the internet that comes close to selling for less, and now i have looked at thier benchmade prices and they are outselling anywhere i have seen WOW i say what a great place to shop................

Aw shucks...we just try to treat the folks like they are standing at the counter. Thanks, md
