I feel your pain, I was born and raised in Tucson. I especially dislike the humid, monsoon version entering this time a year. Takes forever to go away. Now, I live in So Cal, it gets hot here, but its not the AC to AC lifestyle in southern AZ and the heat doesn't linger on for weeks and weeks make for annoying, warm nights on top of things. Everybody is bitching about the hot weather here like babies. :p But I don't exactly miss the heat, either. :cool:

Don't know how I missed this one yesterday! But yeah, Mike is a font of useful info, and his collection of internet links is unsurpassed! Mike, thanks for everything you do and good luck with your surguries! I cannot imagine how uncomfortable you must be sometimes. And I second Burchtree - let's see some more of your knives!

I'll embarrass Mike a little more :D and say he's been about the biggest help to a good handful of part-time and hobbyist makers this side of the Pond.

Mike is never stuck for a few words of encouragement, some good advice, a link to the right tool or piece of material. Plus he makes some damned fine knives.
