I have a mint condition Mike Obenauf Small Model 2 framelock folder with stonewashed titanium handle slabs and a handrubbed S30V blade for sale. As the son-in-law of Kit Carson, Mike learned to make knives from the best out there, and you can see his painstaking attention to detail in this piece. This folder is the middle of the three sizes that Mike makes for this Model. It is built like a tank, and its fit and finish are flawless. Kit also passed his exemplary business ethics on to Mike, so rest assured that Mike will take care of you if you ever need this piece serviced in the future.
The Small Model 2 framelock listed here has never been carried, used, or resharpened, and its original edge from Mike is sharp. The opening action is very smooth, the lock-up is rock solid, and the blade centering is dead perfect.
