Mike Quesenberry Dave Lisch Collaboration 2012

I echo what's already been said - great job by 2 of the most talented and original JS out there !!!

What a collaboration SHOULD be about - shared vision, mutual exchange of ideas and fun :D

A great knife ya'll, elegant, excellant execution...lookin' forward to seein' ya'll in Arkansas!!!

Mike and Dave you both must be very proud of the knife the both of you produced. I love everything about it, the Damascus has a real lot going on and the guard is out of this world. A real masterpiece!!!

I was one of the lucky ones who got to see this in person and it is awesome. Great collaboration by two very talented knifemakers.

Beautiful example of two of the best working together. What a knife!

That's a fine Bowie in every respect. Don't think I have seen a more perfectly shaped Coffin handle.

Very exceptional piece

Love that the Distel taper is cranked up and it's a tue performance piece

What a beauty, having trouble typing as I keep wanting to go back and look at the picture some more.

Mike / Dave and Buddy, Thanks for bringing this to our homes. Two of my favorate maker's collaborating on such a beautiful knife. Buddy' way of capturing the magic. What a treat.

Thanks to all 3 of you.

Thanks for all the kind words.

This 1st annual QuesaLischious collaboration was nothing but a good time and basically just an excuse to hang out and do what we both love to do. Dave and I work well together in the shop, bouncing ideas back and forth, while working at a feverish pace. This has to be the best way to do a collaboration, spending time with a great friend, making a bad ass knife. Thanks Dave, cant wait to see what we come up with next year:D.

This is the best way to learn... share in the making with a friend.
That is the truth. Same for me, getting to work for Coop at BLADE in Atlanta several years in a row now - both of us, same room, same knives, the whole weekend. Awesome opportunity, great fun, friendship and accelerated learning - u can't beat it.

Thought I would add an update now that this beauty has made its way to its new home :D

As you might expect, as good as Buddy's images are, it is even better to hold this in your hand - the balance is really excellent !

The steel is beautiful - depending on how you look at it you can see spiders....or seagulls...or maybe flowers....

I don't think Mike and Dave have a name for it, but the patterning is excellent, and it flows well with the rest of the knife.

Guard, handle - likewise. Just a great job, guys!
