Here is a better look. Fresh from the Little Rock, Via California. Full integral forged from 52100. Little brother to a fighter Mike made, which unfortunately had to be separated and is headed to the opposite coast. So elegant and CLEAN! And so is Caleb's photo. Caleb makes em' levitate! I can't afford a sheath for this knife for a while, but my birthday is in April. =) =)

If its too big: Right click and 'view image'. Unless your on a mac, in which case I don't know what to tell you!

Very Unique I love how the scales are left bold slightly larger than the tang... Beautiful work as always Mike!

I like him, and the way he builds a knife....got one incoming.

Say it right now though, I would Garssonize the pointed guard to a less pointyness...ya hear me, Michael?

Best Regards,

STeven Garsson

I got to see this one at the show, it is a really sweet little knife. I too like the recessed tang/larger handle scales. Great work Mike and congrats Jon to getting such a great knife. Nice job Caleb on the pic too. :)

you did VERY well, Jon! Your persistence was well worth it.
Congratulations to you, and to brother Mike for a fine job all around.

It's a keeper :)

Russ thanks for the coment!, this knife reminds me alot of your Gidgee integral I owned a while back. I thought about that knife over and over the last few days, so its funny you commented. You make a damn clean knife, just like Mike is now doing.

Steven, I can see a less pointy guard as well. But I am not complaining regarding this piece. It does it for me. For a special order, things might turn out different. My guess is you want a rounder and shorter guard, different handle material and a longer blade but other then that, you love it. =) Am I right??

Peter, Kevin, Kyle, Ryan, Lorien and all, thanks for the comments. It reassures me that I didn't go wrong on this beauty even with the handle situation. Not to mention the second I saw a photo of this knife I called Mike to claim it! =)

Some big words perhaps, but myself and some others consider Mike Quesenberry the up and coming Hancock. Tim is known for his classic designs executed with such precision. Mike is following that style and is also doing the same clean and "perfect", shared by the likes of Russ Andrews and Nick Wheeler. Props to all of you!

There is so much going on here with this knife. The full integral must have been challenging. It has so much beauty and elegance, and it is 'operating room' clean. It's WAY to pretty to ever use, but it would be SO nice if you did. In addition to all the elegance and class, it has so much practicality. A perfect hunter. I love the blade shape, the rounded spine and ricasso would be so comfortable. The handle shape looks perfect.

An awesome knife on so many levels. Really nice job Mike. Nice score Jon.

Yep, that's a beauty. Very classic look and the fit and finish is impeccable. Great knife Mike, great score Jon.

I couldn't put any of Mikes knives down. This one was no exception. Clean clean clean, and they just reeked of class. Leaving the ivory proud all the way down the tang made these knives that much more interesting in hand.

Good eye Jon. Great work Caleb and Mike.

Jon,

This is a real find. Got to handle it in Little Rock, and loved it, as well as the companion fighter. Both beautiful.

John

A very beautiful integral. I totally agree about the clean look, can't be done much better than this. Love it!
