Mike Quesenberry Integral Hunter - Added Pics

my finger prints had to be wiped off this one, like folks have said it is so damn clean like all Mikes knives but what is really going on here is so much more as i do not think there are very many folks forging full one piece integral knives with guards. He dose it with damascus too

David's table was next to Mike's, didn't have to go far to be awed.
I had trouble putting this knife down, and David's work too. Awesome stuff.
Congratulations on the knife, it is a beauty.

Definitely a keeper, Jon. And it is too bad the hunter and fighter have to be separated, they make a good team. Perhaps I'll get a quick photo of them together before they part.

And thanks for the photo compliments guys, I appreciate every single one!

I too got to see this knife in LR and I can only echo what the others have said - it is well thought out and perfectly executed

Mike's work is super clean and he has thought out every little facet of the design. I did not find the guard too "pointy" in hand on the hunter - in the double guard fighter piece, the pointier guard does look more "classic" though.

Wish there was a picture of Mike's Damascus integral fighter - W's Damascus, double integral guard - WOW.

Just imagine trying to keep the pattern flowing while forging out double guards - that is Talent with a capital T

Great score Jon, great pictures Caleb.....and of course, great knife Mike :D

Truly a magnificent piece. I probably should not tell Mike brought this over to my house on one of his trips to Elko. I was truly mesmerized by this one. I cannot add in words what has already been said. I know how much work is involved to pull this off and Mike has done it more than a few times now.
Jon thanks for sharing , Caleb great photos and Mike thanks for being who you are Pal.

Well I can't add much to this other than it's a beautiful image of what I can only imagine was a truly fantastic knife in person. Well done!

Thank you all for the kind words and Caleb for the amazing image. These integrals have haunted me since I started making knives. This design, guard, bolster and full tang is what I've been trying to pull off for a long time. I truly love making them and can't wait for the next evolution. When Caleb is finished with the next two, an ivory handled fighter and a W pattern integral fighter, I'll post those as well. I apologize for not responding to this thread earlier, I'm away from home at a friends house, having a blast and hitting hot steel :-)

Mike Thanks for chiming in. It was an honor for me to grab this from you as I think it will be remembered as an amazing classic hunter. Thank you greatly for the opportunity- I appreciate your friendship!

I hope to grab many more in the coming years! =)

I was just told it is the AZ Hammer in this weekend... I HAVE to make it to next years! Have a great weekend Mike.

Classic, fantastic come to mind straight away. I love that all over! Great score Mr Brand!
Cheers Keith

THanks guys. It should arrive in two days and I am ecstatic.

Turns out that Caleb did not take the photo of the twins, so bigger brother fighter will be shown separately. But maybe you will see soon! =)

This has got to be one of the cleanest knives I've ever seen! I loved it in the smaller pics that I saw, but Caleb's detail shots really make the word FLAWLESS come to mind. Jon, congrats on this one man, you're collection is going to need to be in a museum one day!
