speechless...

Everything he touches is pretty much perfect precision. He's about as good as it gets.

Got to meet Mike and hold this knife at the show and... WOW! His work is the definition of "clean".
His knives feature some very technical construction methods, and still manage to be subtle, the mark of a master.
For example the peaks of the handle checkering are each adorned with a gold pin! In person it was easy to overlook (in fact I did at first, caleb did an excellent job at bringing them out) but when your eye finally catches all the little details its amazing. Everything is 100%... not to mention he was super cool to speak with :)

That has the look of an antique style bowie, but is more refined and elegant than most of them. Some of the antiques were rather awkward looking in my opinion.
Lot's of skill required to pull that pique/checkering off well. ("I'm not worthy" emoticon goes here)

Darcy:)

Beautiful blade and guard/spacers, but I particularly like those big "pinned" diamonds. You show them off perfectly, Caleb.

PS - Note that even the takedown screw is timed.

The elegance of that long blade with maker-made damascus, perfect pique work and take down construction is virtually impossible to bring together.

Mike makes it look easy.

Nice work Caleb.

Unmistakable a Quesenberry knife with that small and subtle guard. Mikes work is as good as it gets. Everything but everything is just right on this fine piece! Mike is a one of the great knife makers around right now and a hell of a guy and I'm lucky to have several of his knives and have him as a friend!

Mike does amazing work....well deserved award and fine photographs.

That is so nice. Man-o-man. Mike, my hat is off to you on such a superb piece.

Mike may make it look easy, but I can only imagine the hours spent.

Caleb captures it with skill.

I inspected that handle in detail.
Those gold "pins" are actually 24 Ct tiny gold wire. And I mean TINY!
Mike's description of how he layed that out and created the gold domes right in the center of the peak was pretty cool.
He's on his game.

This knife becomes the second Michael Quesenberry in the Never Summer Collection. Kellen and I are completely in awe of this Samuel Bell inspired piece. What a work of art kudos to you michael

Where was that Karl, I'd like to read that?
