Mike Quesenberry, MS ~ Integral Dogbone Bowie (award image added)

Absolutely amazing. It would be spectacular as a standard build but to know it's integral puts it in another realm. Beautifully captured, Caleb. The close-ups jump off the screen. What a joy it must have been to hold.
Edited to add, for my tastes, that is the nicest Quesenberry damascus I've ever seen.

Incredible. The center piece of any collection.

A work that is almost hallucinatory in its class and perfection. Some of my favorite ivory I've ever seen.

This is probably my favorite dogbone bowie ...ever!

And that's even before you add in the integral factor :D

another spectacular knife from Mike

I've never, ever commented on a dogbone because of personal taste - I've never cared for them- until now. This one blows 'em all away - it's just superb, as is Caleb's detailed imaging. The handle, the placement of the engraving, the quality/color of ivory, the integral damascus, the set of skills employed - just everything comes together in a piece that, in my opinion, ought to win at least a couple or three awards of major consequence somewhere!

Just a gorgeous, outstanding achievment.

I'd like to thank everyone for their kind words and Caleb for the mind blowing images. This knife pushed me more than any knife I've done previously. I had built this knife in my head so many times before I started I thought it would be a piece of cake. I've never been so wrong in all my life. A big thank you to the new owner for his never ending patience throughout this build.

No words can speak justice for this gorgeous piece. The knife itself say it!
As I've previously said before Mike is absolutely on top of his game!

It is incredible! Just breathtaking...amazing in every detail. Those domed pins alone are jaw droppers themselves.

wow. just wow.
Those dogbone handles are almost impossible to get just right. He did, absolutely. That is about as good as it gets. Not over-the-top. A well designed knife.
beauty.

I just want to add my voice to so many others here . . . what a very special knife. The kind you remember for a long time after you see them. A masterpiece. Congrats to Mike and to its owner.
