Mike Ruth Jr “Moran” Fighter & Paul Long Sheath

EXCEPTIONAL looking bowie in every way! The damascus looks amazing, nice stag and an equally fine image of it!

Well done and CONGRATS Kevin!

Peter

This is an exceptional fighter.
I finally had the pleasure of meeting Mike at the show. He has mad skills and thinks out of the box so there's no surprise this knife is outstanding.

Thank you for all the comments.
Here's the Paul Long sheath with tooled leather and Shark skin inlay at the throat.

Thanks for the kind words fellas! I'm happy to hear that so many of you like the knife! Personally, I think this is the best pic that Chuck has ever done for me...I think it came out GREAT!! Every feature of the steels just glow and pop out! I'll never know how he does that, guess it's just out of my pay grade. Also, Paul's sheath is a complete and total work of art in itself, as they always are...like a fine Tuxedo! Thanks for checking it out guys, much appreciated!

I agree Mike, Chuck did an outstanding job on the photo. I was remiss in not mentioning that in my opening post.

I was lucky enough to see this before the show and must admit, I was speechless for a few moments after removing the knife from it's case. The pattern is nothing short of mesmerizing. It has a highly contrasting "texture" that really stands out. Balanced, classy and deadly. That's our Mike. :)

Great knife, Mike and Kevin! I got a look at it in Little Rock.

Sheath is dang nice and the photo is off the charts. Chuck is killin em lately!

Just wondered if it was you who wrote

A Norwegian fisherman caught a Sperm Whale??? That dude must have been using one hell of a rig! Those things are bigger than most boats...

I haven't seen anybody mention it yet so I'm just to throw it out there:D The first thing Susan said when she was looking it over was "How did you get that telephone in the buttcap??" I didn't know what she was talking about until I looked at it again...sure enough, she was right(she usually is)!

Right there in the center of the buttcap, clear as day, is an old school rotary telephone! I have no idea how that happened and couldn't recreate it again if I tried...definitely one of a kind! Maybe we should have named it "Ma Bell" :)

I had a chance to handle this one in Little Rock as well I did not see the phone in the butt cap, what I did see was that long sweeping blade and the way it felt in my hand another sweet one from Mike and that sheath just brings it all together Kevin I'll call you be careful witch end of the phone you put to your ear ;) very Nice Mike cant wait to see what you bring this year

I give up.

RickardWessman.....do you realize that you kicked up a thread from February(at least it was from 2013 and not 2003)?

Best Regards,
