Mike T., what exactly is 'the drill' on monthly giveaways ?

I thought to qualify, one only need to be a member and post twice during the month. What is the monthly "Give me a number..." thread all about ?

Each member is assigned a randomly generated number each drawing. Mike asks the membership to randomly select the number for the winning member. Picking the number doesn't influence your chances of winning.

As for "the drill", it's good luck to be online at the time that the first person picks the number, though it hasn't worked for me yet.

Sadly enough, my odds are actually decreasing!
