Bought a 154CM EDC a while back, transaction went great.

Ordered a clearance 154CM combo-edge Talon back on 9/6.

After 2 weeks (thinking maybe WTC delays were to blame), I started e-mailing sales@, info@, orders@, mike@, etc. All valid contact addresses I could find.

For the last two weeks I've sent numerous e-mails, and posted in multiple forums, trying to catch Mike online. I know he's busy, and I know he's got things going on in his personal life, but it's been a month now and my patience has run out.

In a post in General he mentioned his Grandmother recently passed away. I'm guessing he's been by her side for nearly every day of the month you're speaking of... That's not an excuse of course but Mike is without a doubt a standup guy. I'd hang in there and dig deep for a bit more patience and I'm sure he'll contact you and make things right.

Yes, I had heard that. In fact, I sent Mike an e-mail on 10/1, saying I was aware he was having problems, and to _please_ e-mail me when things settled down and he got a chance.

I noticed another post by him in a Balisong forum recently though -- that he was heading to China shortly.

I guess I feel like if he has time to post in the Balisong Forum, he should have time to figure out what went wrong with my order. Or at least reply with SOMETHING, so I don't feel like I'm being completely ignored.

Michael - sorry to hear of your troubles. FWIW, I recall Mike telling me once before that all those emails (e.g. orders@, info@, mike@, etc) get dumped into his one email account. Though, since he doesn't post much, I have no idea what he is up to these days, and I just found out about his grandmother and his trip to China in your above post. Keep the faith, I know he will make things right.

And above that, yeah, he is pretty ugly too :p :D

Thanks for the help.

I received my credit card statement today. I'm going to call them tomorrow (or Monday, if they can't do anything tomorrow) and simply have the charges reversed.

As I said, my first experience w/Mike was great, and I know others haven't had any problems. I'm sure I simply "slipped through the cracks". I just wish he would have returned some of my e-mails over the weeks.

A few days ago. I ordered a Leatherman Pulse about a week ago, Mike emailed me and asked if I would mind a substitution on my puse. I emailed him today, but, I am probably too late to catch him. I hope he takes care of it when he gets back. I hope all works out well.
 
That he replied to you and not to me is just plain bizarre!

Oh well. I'm calling my CC company tomorrow.

Got it all figured out. We did ship and the knife went to Michael's old address. I have reshipped a new knife and all is well except I am out a knife. Oh well.

I wish I would have seen this thread sooner.
