I know Mike's signature line at the bottom of his posts states that he is the founder of these forums but many of you don't know him. He REALLY DID start BladeForums! He is a high energy guy that I personally admire. He can be hard to take at times and loves his ass kissed, (and who doesn't?), but he is a DOER!
There was a knifemaker and a purveyor who OWNED the old forums, (literally and figuratively), and you could not criticize them in any way because they and the members of the forums at the time, would come down on you HARD! Mike, (who had his own critics by the way), started these forums to get away from all that. He founded these forums as a place one could go and politely express opinions whether positive or negative, without any intimidation from whomever was the emperor of knifedom at the time. These forums are STILL this way to this very day and I salute Mike, (and of course Kevin!), for a job well done!
