Up for sale, a Mike Zscherny Wharncliffe slipjoint based on the Tony Bose "Mini Trapper" pattern.
154-CM blade with a hand rubbed finish; 416 stainless bolster, liners and shield; bronze pivot bushings; beautiful Sambar stag scales with two gold pins. 3-3/4" closed; 6-1/2" OAL.
The bolsters have a hand rubbed satin finish with a mirror polished groove. The backspring and mill-relieved liners are satin finished outside and mirror polished inside. The blade is completely wobble-free and centered when closed, and the shield is pinned. The backspring is flush opened, closed and at the halfstop. Pull is around a '6' with a smooth walk and a solid snap.
Never used, carried or re-sharpened. The only condition flaw is a tiny barely discernible scuff on the finish of the rear bolster. I've tried to capture it in a high-rez close up with the contrast cranked to no avail (see photos) and you really have to look for it in person. It was there when I received the knife from the dealer, but it was too superficial to worry about.
I'm looking for SOLD $750.00, which includes USPS Priority shipping. PayPal preferred and I'll eat the fee, but a USPS MO is okay, too. No trades, please. Fair warning: I need the money, but I'm really hesitant to let this go, so I may withdraw the offer if I get cold feet or some of my other stuff sells first
.
Thanks for looking.
