A while back, mikemck posted on the For Sale Board that he had a Schrade Tough Tool that he didn't want and he wanted to know if anyone would like it. I just happened to be the first one to post and told him that my 12 year old nephew would be thrilled to have it. He asked for my address and sent it out by certified mail. He wouldn't accept any reimbursement for postage either. To say that my nephew was thrilled would be an understatement. The only problem with it is trying to keep him from wearing it to school and getting suspended! I gave him a Cold Steel All Terrain Hunter for his first deer season last fall. Now he has a good multi-tool to go along with it. I would say that he is well on his way to becoming a KnifeKnutt.
Thanks Mike! Your the best!!

Jim, your too kind, but I am glad your nephew is liking the Tough Tool.
I would have to say that if the "Tough Tool" can survive daily use from a 12 year old and all that entails, that's quite an endorsement for Shcrade

Again though, thank you for the kind words.

Mike-

Now if I can just get him to trade me for my Gerber.

I love the gadget factor of the Tough Tool. We just need to figure out what the hook shaped scye type tool is for. I went to their website and they don't have it on their new tools. Perhaps I'll get off my butt and ask Tim over on the Schrade board.
