Mikkel Willumsen is The MAN!!!!!!!

I've contacted Mikkel Willumsen a number of times over the past year, to ask questions about certain knives and blade steels used.
He responded quickly each time and always had an answer for me.

Recently, I sent him a Huggin I bought, that had some "lock rock". Not much, but enough to notice.

I received the knife back from him today and not only did the lock rock problem get solved, but he also re-anodized the titanium to better match the colors of the custom scale.

I can't say enough about this knife maker and his products, his attention to detail, and his customer service...ALL OUTSTANDING!

That's good to hear. I recently sent my custom Maddox to him for lock slippage. How long did it take before he returned the knife to you?

It took about two months...actually a little less, for Mikkel to send the knife back to me.

I'm sure Mikkel is busy, so I didn't think less than 2 months was bad at all. Not only did he fix the "lock rock", but he also re-anodized the frame to better match the black/green scale.

Top notch maker and guy, in my book.

Not bad. Nice to see that he can go above and beyond what is expected. I sent my knife to him in the beginning of September, and I know shipping takes about 2 weeks to Denmark. Was just curious about what his turnaround time would be. Thanks for your experience.
