Nice! Seems like the camillus era had a lot less grind marks than ka-bar. Did you keep the vinegar hot the whole time? I have seen pics of some dark deep black patinas from vinegar that were even, curious why yours did not.
Thanks man. It was because I didn't get all the coating removed before dunking in vinegar. I brought the vinegar to a boil, then poured it into the glass. Put the knife in there for 20 minutes. I was wanting more of a mottled look though, hence why I went with the mustard patina.
