Gmail works for me, but I'm less than 30 miles from Google HQ with a DSL line.

The only problem I have had with filtering is when I use outlook to retrieve emails, Gmail filters before sending messages to outlook so I had about 6 months where I could send emails to Busse but their emails were being filtered and I had no idea. Then Gmail deletes spam after 30 or 90 days so there were several non spam emails that were deleted before I knew they were being filtered.

I sent a few nasty emails to Gmail because that is a really stupid thing to do and you can't turn off the filtering.

Now I just use the web interface to get my email but it has issues, you can't really cut and paste in the message field which is really annoying.

I simultaneously e-mailed Jerry, Garth, and Info (Amy) -- with an extra copy to Amy. Used Comcast and AOL in parallel.

At least one got through in time to do me good.

They contacted me on my aol account, probably because that's the e-mail account I quoted in the e-mail itself.

Thanks Old Phys. I sent mine within that same time frame, so I'll just keep my fingers crossed. :thumbup:

Big thanks to the Busse folks! Got my email today. For those of you worried, have no fear: I sent my email in at 9:45 and still managed to get Desert Olive MS and AD (my first choices).

Edit: and by 9:45 i mean 10:45...east coast

bah i sent it in about 15 minutes after, whenever that was. You guys got me all confused about time zones and the earths rotation and coriolis forces that make us miss when we chop a stick

Actually, that's not so comforting since I sent mine in within a minute of the post. :confused:
 
Shockingly I scored as well - just read the email. A set of each, but there was a mix up - throwing the olives back. Which is no suprise given the amount of email they have to go through. I'm really impressed with the customer service.
