militaries

Quoted from the Spyderco home forum

The first run of the Fluted Ti Millie did not have the lock bar insert. As most of you are aware, titanium is difficult to work with and production of the Ti models takes longer than that of other models. The parts for the first run (less than 200) were cut prior to the CQI (Constant Quality Improvement) decision to add the lock bar insert.

Given the small number produced without the lock bar insert and the very large number in demand, more than likely those without it will be more collectible in the years to come.

Hope this information helps.

Just bought my first millie. Black blade + Camo G10
Sharpest out-of-the-box knife I've ever opened.
Anyone know what the liner is made of?

Did someone say Military? My favorite Spyderco. Here is my small collection, excuse the lousy photography.

The only Military in my collection at this time - the combo Ti/G10 with M4 blade.
