Military Appreciate Build-off

Hey folks, following Nathan's lead, I decided to post a couple pics from my build-off knife. Please head over to David's forum to have a look at mine and all of the other builds.

The blade is ATS-34, powder coated flat black with bronze anodized titanium screws and brown/green linen micarta. The sheath is multi-position kydex with 550 cord wrapped around it.

I'm not usually smitten by this type of "Tactical" blade but wow I must say BAD AZZ !!:thumbup:

You gonna be hanging at Alan Folt's table alot at blade ? I'll be there with my mentor who is very good friends with Alan so I'm sure we'll be swinging by there a few times throughout the show so it would be cool to get to meet you in person.

Josh - Alan has two tables, myself and a couple of students split the cost of the second, so I'll be there with a couple knives. I'm hoping I can bring this one along if the guy getting it can part with it for a weekend ;)

Nice knife and sheath/multi position rig. Could you post the web site you are referring to above? I would like to see the rest of the build-off knives. Thanks.

....... Never mind, I found the link in another thread. Still think the knife is great. What type of coating did you use?

Will do. It's gonna be a real blast getting to meet fellow forumites in person ! I've gotten together with 3 other makers already and every one of them is a top notch fella so I'm really looking forward to the entire BLADE show experience.

What is the table number of the one you are sharing?
 
Acrid that is sweet. I am not a big fan of tactical blades either but I have to agree with Josh on this one, that knife is bad ass. Good luck at blade.
 
Hi Tom - We're listed for 23B and C, it will be up to Alan's wife to decide where we get our real estate, she's the table setup guru.

Thanks for all of the kind words folks, I was really happy with how the knife came out. Tomorrow I'm meeting up with the new owner for the handing over photos. I think we're both looking forward to it.
 
Awesome blade. What David and you guys are doing is awesome as well. Make sure you post up some pic's of the hand over to the new owner!
