Does anyone happen to know what years that Camillus had the contracts to supply the Marine Corps with there versions of the F/U knife, the 5684 I believe.

Camillus was awarded contracts for the model #5684 knife in 1943 for the "U.S.M.C." and "U.S.N." versions. The early knives had the threaded tang.
