I found an old box that I thought was lost some 15 to 20 years ago and it contained the following:

Buck 188-U.S.A. Knife (Green Handle) condition New (Never was Used).
Smith and Wesson Model SW-1000 Armed Forces Only on box (New still in box wrapped in original paper with gold S&W seal Hand Made in U.S.A.) this is pristine.
Imperial Knife M-7S (New in box never used original survival compass, fish-hooks, wire saw still in original packs never opened.)
USMC Model 1217, Blade is 1219C2c, Butt is 1219C2-4 in Original Box, It has never been used as far as I can tell, but I don't know. Sheath says KA-BAR, has Marine Corp Emblem then USMC below that. Sheath is Leather Stiched, but has staples going around the stitching. Knife Blade has USMC on one side of blade and KA-BAR Olean, NY on the other side.

Can anyone tell me if these are worth anything?

They fixed blades all good enough for about anything you can do with them. They are not hunters or slicers, really. More of the "survival" genre.

The Buck 188 is the civilian version of the M9 bayonet.

The Kabar may be collectible, not sure.

The Imperial would probably sell for a fortune on ebay, since the USA company is defunct.

The SW1000, not sure about that one.

Post pictures, and get this moved to the Collecting forum!
The S&W might be collectible, because they are not USA made anymore. I think Camillus made them.

I only have info on the Imperial M7-S (made in USA). I have one I got 25 years ago at the PX for about $50 and mine has been used. I saw one posted for sale a few months ago for $200. I don't remember the site but it wasn't e-bay.

I had my daughter take the pictures, she's a professional photographer. I'm new at this so how do I post the pictures or upload them. Some of the knifes go back a ways I served two tours in Vietnam, 68 at Khe Sanh and 71 with MACV-SOG.

Thanks, and just remember:

If you think the small things in life don't count try sleeping with a mosquito!!

Put them on your computer then upload them to a website like imageshack. Post the links imageshack gives you in the thread

the kabar looks like the newer version, and those staples look like they've been added after leaving the factory because of the slightly uneven spacing. Maybe someone else will know for sure.
