Been a long time spyderco fan....


But where is the military love?

Haven't seen an s45vn yet in production

Haven't seen a comp lock version....

I'm over the pm2 the military is what brought me to spyderco

Do something to bring me back
 
The Military is a knife that I've always been interested in but I never catch them for sale on the used market. I guess that's a testament to people's thoughts on the Military. They just don't hit the secondary market very often.
 
I wanted the camo/dlc version .

As soon as this one was available I bought it.
Really s30 is good for me - s45 hasn't really performed noticeably different.

If they re-release something it would be down to price point for me.

To clarify, the thread is asking where is SPYDERCO's love for the Military, right?
It's funny this thread should come up, was just thinking about this. I generally skew towards bigger knives, I love large and do not mind a little heavy, as evidenced when I carry Cold Steel. So, it makes exactly zero sense that I have three PM2s and a fourth on order but no Military. First off, I would have gotten the Military, but it was consistently sold out for like, three months, and when it recently showed, it was the S30V version, and I was tight on cash.

Been waiting for a Military in a more interesting steel, and I made a thread about this and found out there was going to be a Military 2 on a comp lock as well as a Civilian 2. The Mil 2 will not replace the current Millie, but will run concurrent to it, like the Cruwear and S45VN PM2.
 
The S110V Millie went out of stock back in 2020, and AFAIK it didn't come back until early this year. It sold out just as fast as any high demand sprint. Date codes on the ones I've seen are AV (Jan 2022). The intermediate-CQI Bento S90V Millie also sold out in the past couple years.

Given that there haven't been any sprints or exclusives since Rex 45 in 2018, I would expect any new non-S30V drops to sell very quickly. I just hope they don't mess it up with a comp lock and a bunch of extra clip screw holes.

Yeah, S30V, G10 with liner lock or ti framelock. That's it. You might want to upsize the screws and lanyard holes, btw. ;)
