That is the "Mini" (misleading name, if any, as it is far from being small). You can quickly see the difference between the mini and its big brother when you look at their butt, in lack of a better term :)

Spot the Millie in this pic - At the end of an 18day, 221km trek through central oz.

It was with me every step of the way. I tend not to use my Millie as EDC any more. But it lives in that right hand cargo pocket of my shorts when I'm 'out bush'.

Can you tell why ? What your EDC knife now ?

I use the Atlantic Salt more often for EDC now DNR. It's maintenance free for a marine environment and is the perfect size for food preparation. I started to feel less comfortable with the Millie in the city or town because it would be harder to explain a practical use for it to a LEO. The sheepfoot blade, straight edge and bright yellow handle of the A-Salt looks harmless. The smaller closed length of the A-Salt also makes it pocketable as well as clipable. Whereas the Military only works clipped or in a sheath.

The blokes I trek with used to criticize my carrying the Millie and called it way more knife than needed - until they started borrowing it off me almost every day. It's the perfect survival knife for the Aussie bush where a big chopper or FB is mostly not needed.
