Just "a bit" modified Military... I always wanted to replace the tiny plastic backspacer with something with more "military" look&feel. So my choice was of course TITANIUM. I did a full-lenght backspacer, which makes the knife even stronger, adds a lot of extra grip and also it transforms the butt of the knife into HARD hitting device. Initially I added an extedned "crusher" but it made the handle too long so I rounded the butt back to the original shape. Of course I had to remove the lanyerd-hole tubing so I added additional screw in the butt area to keep the knife really strong. Otherwise the scales could be too loose in that area. What do you think?

Nice. That's one gripe I always had about the Military: I always wished it would have a backspacer.

Man that looks so slick! It is so well done I would think it was a stock model if I did not know better. great work!

That is a VERY COOL mod. I would pay for that.

I wish I could order a spacer like that. Let me know if you ship from Poland to Texas.

sweet!!!That is the way they should come.I don't know why spyderco uses a plastic spacer with top shelf blade steel and handle material.

Great work by the way.

Very very nice work. If you have some time, would you mind describing some of the steps in the process? I'd love to do something like that myself and would be really interested in hearing how you went about this project, especially how you did the tooling on the top of the backspacer, which looks really good! Also, were you able to find titanium in just the right thickness to fit between the scales? If not, what tools did you need to get that accomplished?

Thanks for any info.

Jon

mother. of. god. piter, I'll take it!!! Seriously, I would buy one from you if you make more. ..maybe make one that could work with the knife without the extra screws?

That looks terrible, you should send it to me for proper disposal :p

Excellent work, it looks really good

What about a frame lock on that bad boy ? ;)

Wow. That looks amazing. :O

I'd order one if I could keep the lanyard loop on mine. Top notch work there!
