Military or Benchmade 960

Closed length of the 960 is 4.16" compared to 5.5" for the Military closed. BM 960 is more of a gentleman's knife, not even close to a Military.

Well, I wouldn't reccomend any benchmade w/o an axis lock, just seems like a banana split with no banana. Military all the way.

i have a 940, and its an awesome knife, just not quite sure how you arrived at deciding between those to. knida like deciding between an F350 and a mustang. FWIW the 940 is my dress knife, my para is my edc (manix too) The military is huge, the 940 is slender on the smaller side.

Bringing up the 940 just muddies the water. The only thing the 940 and 960 have in common is they're both folders having model numbers starting with a "9". I EDC an older 154CM 940, it's ideal for me. My 960 has been re-boxed.
