Military, Paramilitary 2, or Manix XL?

I've had both versions of the large Manix, many versions of the PM2, but none of those have remained because I never got around to using them as much as I do my Militaries. I'm also a Ti junkie, and only my Ti Frankenmilitaries are left.

Thought the thread could use more pictures:

Nice!^
btw, I love my Para but my rediscovered Endura bumped it... for now.

I've always preferred the ergos of the Manix series to the Paras, but there's no denying that weight difference!

Damn it, I need to get another blacked out Manix!

I HATE liner locks, and have had them close on me, but I trust the Military's liner lock, it is a liner lock like the Porsche 911 is a v6. Its stiffer and more aggressive than most liners, and I accidentally got lube on the lock face and lightly spine whacked it on my desk to see if lubed would make it fail. Never shifted a bit, It wasn't a heavy hit but I wouldn't use the military for extreme hard use anyway.

I have one of the XL's in S90V, hidden away in my closet. If I can find it tonight I think I'll carry it tomorrow! It's too nice to just sit in the closet.

The Manix lightweight is an outstanding knife. I have 3 of them, including the S110V version, and dig them all.

For common EDC use, the PM2
For heavy-duty and a longer blade, the Military
The XL if you need a beast...or you are King Kong...
