I have slightly bent my Military's pocket clip twice in a month.Just enough that it doesn't sit in the pocket without any movement. The first time I just took it off and bent it back.I'm concerned it could break if this keeps up.I don't know how it happened.I've only had it a month.

Is the clip spring steel? I assumed it would be but I was under the impression that spring steel would break before taking a set.

Do I need a new clip or just bend it back again?

The clip is stainless. I have seen a great many that are 410 stainless. Thats what I used myself when I made my own out of stainless. The max hardness of this steel if you do the oil quench as directed is 45 Rockwell which is a good spring hardness. Even if its not 410 its probably hovering at that hardness regardless. This will usually bend a little for you but if you take it too far it can and has snapped on folks and myself. I'd be very careful about forcing it because in my experience its usually a no warning thing when this happens.

Call the customer service desk on Monday and see if you can get another sent to you.
