Military Redux

I've owned 4 varieties of the Military in the past and have sold them all.

I too came full circle and just bought my 5th variant!
One of those knives that I just can't get away from for the same reasons all of you fine folk agree on.

The Military is my first choice when I go camping, or for extended cutting tasks (like real work). Waiting for nr 4 to arrive, a 52100. :)

One is coming in today's mail. Have had quite a few; they come and go. A bit too large for me to carry, but I have places for them.

The CF or G10 Military, large and small Regular(or Classic) Sebenza's are the best folders designs ever made IMO, and three I will have until the end.
I always have my CF BG-42 Military on me or right beside me on my bookshelf within arms length.

If anyone ask me my thoughts on which knife to get next I always tell them a Military if they don't already have one.
4oz with a 4" FFG slicing demon blade with all that distal taper is a knife that no one else makes anything like it, and a must have IMO.
 
I rarely keep duplicated models, but there are two exceptions: Spyderco Military (a ti and a digicam/dlc) and ZT 0562 (an Elmax/g10 and a 204p/cf). Seriously considering adding a kw exclusive green g10, and a fluted ti millies is still on my radar.
 
I've had and sold a couple, mostly due to the clip rubbing my palm. I just handled a 52100 Military and that clip is awesome, no rubbing. When the standard Millie becomes available with the new clip I'll buy my first Military in many years.
 
Love the military! Would love it a bit more if it came tip up carry, but it's a fantastic knife that carries smaller than you expect.

Millie #3 came in yesterday... The KW CTS 204p. It's outstanding. I've been without a Millie for around two years. The CQI upgrades, 204p & Green G10 were just too much to pass up! What a great knife!
 
I resisted the Military for years. I have a lot of other Spydercos but this one had me a bit iffy on it. I finally bought one and now I regret not doing so sooner. Great knife.
 
Unused 97. So cool I can't bring myself to use it.

Archie please do some more reviews! I would love to see your thoughts on the Military (again), Endura, Delica and Native!!!!!
 
With all the sprints/exclusives available/coming soon i'm a bit torn as to which one I want to get....first.
