Military steel choice....52100, S110V, S30V, S90V, or? (Ultimately I chose M4)

I would keep an eye out on the exchange , rex 45 has been a joy for me on my shaman

And for my daily uses m390 and related are a favorite for me

Thanks to JonesE JonesE I have some s90v to try out soon !

When ever there’s food involved I like going with stainless. Cardboard is pretty rough on an edge so you want high edge retention. Out of your choices listed seems s110v or s90v would suit you best.

For example, Ive used an s30v millie outside extensively. It held up quite well. Cutting wood, slicing open plastic pots during landscaping jobs etc. In those circumstances, s110 may experience chipping since its hard but not as tough.

Well, the S110V deal fell through and the only one available was missing the tip. Looked at an early 440V then stumbled on an M4 w/DLC blade at not much more than the S110V and with just enough wear I won't feel bad about throwing it in my pocket. Done deal and it is on its way.

Thanks for all the viewpoints guys, all wewre given thought and it is appreciated.
