Just finished this up.
Its 11 1/4" OAL,
5 1/2" Blade that's 1 1/2" wide at its widest point.
5 1/2" grip that's 7/8" wide. Has the texturing on black micarta.
Thumb notches, beveled finger choil, sharpened swedge 2.5"
Wrist lanyard. Bead blasted finish all over
Its forged, differentially heat treated 3/16" 5160. I've had this blade for a while. Got it in a trade a while back, maybe a year or two ago. I did not forge the blade or heat treat it, just finished up the knife.
Unfortunately, I can't remember the makers name. The guy I got it in trade from knew alot about it, and passed this info onto me (regarding material, forging, and heat treat).
Great chopper. I tested it out. Heat treat seems spot-on.
Comes with a Spec Ops Brand sheath.
I will incude a black oxide finish on this knife if desired, for an extra $10.00. If you don't know what that is, a quick Google search will tell you more, and save me alot of typing. Suffice it to say, It is used on machine tools and parts all the time. Its very good stuff.
