What would be ya'll's dream Spyderco Military? Let's hear some ideas! Mine would be ball bearing pivot, frame locking one of the existing bladesteels(super blue, s30V, M390) maybe a flip tab?

I wonder if a person could replace the front titanium scale with a G10 one of the all titanium models?

What attracts me about the military is it's simplicity. Maybe just bigger hardware and that stepped pivot. Complicating the design will make it less desirable to me.

I just want the green 204P that is en route to me, but it seems like it has gone MIA in the post. :(

I agree about simplicity.

I would prefer the blade shape of the Endura and a 13mm hole. I'd also like to see the pommel reshaped similar to the Para2. Other than that, the CQI changes on my 204p Millie are certainly welcomed!

Would love to see them bringing back the Military in SE but with the new "upgrades". I just love my old Millie in SE.:D

a beefier version (the result is it won't be a military anymore.) thick SS liners, SS or ti front bolsters, industrial strength pivot pin, 5mm blade with a middle ridge line for greater strength. steel? plain vanilla tough like o-1, cpm 154, or s30v.

I would love to see a Military in CPM-3V!

Also, I thought my 204P went missing in the post, but I got word today that it is ready for collection at my local post office. That totally made my day. :)

3v millie would rock! I would think that the cruwear wouldn't be too far behind though.

3V would be my dream steel.

Carbon fiber or OD Green G10 presentation scale with Titanium frame lock

I like the Mili pretty much as is, and the only thing I would want is one in 3V with the latest HT (ala CPK and SK) or 4V. The other thing might be a reinforced tip because I am hard on tips.
But otherwise, it ain't broke ;)
I used to only use PM2s and thought they were perfect - great ergos, supersteels (the ones I bought), light and easy to carry, comp lock, tip-up. I ignored the Mili because I thought it was too long, linerlock, tipdown. Was I ever wrong! I based my aversion to those characteristics on generalities and experiences with other knives. I actually do find a longer blade useful (Endura), but although the Delica handle fits me like a glove (and so does the PM2), the Endura is hard for me to get completely comfortable with. So I assumed the same would be true for the Mili. I was wrong. I have small hands, but find the Mili handle quite comfortable, ergonomic, and allows a variety of grips. Tip-down works just fine for this knife. Liner lock works fine and is much easier to use than comp lock, especially one-handed. It is a very easy to carry and use knife and you get the benefit of the longer blade length (I prefer it over the PM2). And it cuts like a laser with that FFG. Just wish the tip was a teeny bit more robust, but still a good penetrater.

So far my M390 Military model has been my very favorite up till now. I could literally be content to have this M390 Military model for the next two to three years>>yes I like it that much. But I would like to have a C-36 Military model with a Titanium handle with M390 blade steel. With either a fluted handle or some knurling for a better grip.

My second choice would be a dark burgundy G-10 handle with the same blade steel. OH Ron Finkbeiner?? I used to go to school with a guy of that same name several years ago in Blue Springs MO>> would that be you?

Even though I got an m390 and a cruwear as collectibles, I ve mostly carried my s30v in the past. But my very good experience with cts204p in my pm 2 made me get this steel in the military. I m now carrying a military again for the first time in a couple of years. I d forgotten what a fine edc it is. Very happy with the cts204p for now.
